Very recently (whilst on a walk) I found a colony of Myrmica Rubra under a brick. I collected what I could and have got 5 queens 100+ workers and lots of brood. This is approximately one quater of the colony. They have eggs. They are in an AntStore slim-line nest, which is filled with sand. At 22•c Videos soon

Considering there are now around 20 new eggs, I think so

Well, they outgrew this nest and evidently were searching for a new one.. They are now in a GIANT homemade slim-line nest. They love their new home!

Woah, they are doing so well now! They have about 100 pupae ready to hatch any time now! The queens are fine, they constantly move to different chambers, some are even out of view but i know they are safe and happy
