Quiz everyone one is answered from now on! I live in Asia. Known as 'The new Asian army ant' I can adopt new workers and queens Colonies can be in the millions! Pitch black What am I?

I believe you're talking about Pheidologeton Diversus. They get the nickname 'Asian Army Ant' from the fact they can be very aggressive and raid other nests like the real army ants do. They have MANY differences though, such as: - Pheidologeton Diversus have a permanent nest unlike army ants
- Pheidologeton Diversus are polygyne and army ants are monogyne
- Pheidologeton Diversus have a nuptial flight whereas army ants alates do not have wings (they mate on the ground)
- A new colony of army ants are created by an existing colony splitting in two
As far as I know anyway. I welcome corrections, been out of the loop for a long time.

Just like to point out that male army ants have wings; they fly from their own swarm to another looking for queens.
