I have decided to try keeping Mealworms! I bought a giant box for my ants, but want to get an established live food programme started now. I fed them some dry dog food and strawberry 'leaves' (the things you peel off before eating them!) and they have now got 3 pupae. I wonder what the beetles look like?

Mealworm beetles are fairly large beetles, your in for a shock if you've never seen them before, they don't bite so don't worry about that. Superworm beetles bite though.

Thanks, it usually takes about a week or so to have them turn into beetles.
